We typically have donuts, chocolate milk, and good discussion in a fairly comfortable setting at the Lillard House. Come join us!

Recently we have been reading and discussing the Authentic Book, which is being written by Troy Jordan.

Join us for worship, praise, and the Word of God at the main church building.

After the 10:30 AM service concludes, young adults meet in the foyer of the church and go out to eat together usually somewhere like Applebee's, LongHorn, Ruby Tuesday's, Jose Peppers, or another decent restaurant in or near Belton.

Wednesdays at 8:15 PM

We are temporarily not having services for young adults on Wednesday nights, but we are praying together and discussing upcoming outreach projects including the joint outreach with the music ministry on April 11, 7PM at Belton Assembly of God church.

  Who We Are

Authentic Young Adults are 18-28 year-olds seeking to glorify God through a life committed to following Jesus Christ. As our name implies, we are seeking to live as authentic people, which we believe is only accomplished by being who God desires us to be.

The core of this ministry is the life changing power of the GOSPEL, which is the good news to all people. The news that God has a plan to redeem us and that he is waiting with open arms for you.

Perhaps you are just beginning to approach God in your life. Let us help you find Him and know Him intimately.

Maybe you have been feeling God prompt you to walk closer with Him. We would love to encourage you in your walk with God.

The GOSPEL in summary is that:

God created us to live with Him forever.

Our sin separated all people from God.

Sin cannot be paid for by any work that we do.

The price for our sin was paid for by Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect life and was crucified showing the evil of men's hearts, but the great love of God in that He loved us while we were still in the depths of sin.

Everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and receives Him as savior and Lord will have life everlasting.

Life everlasting means a more fulfilling life now and living eternally with God forever when this mortal life is over.

A Model Prayer

If you are wondering how to pray to get your heart right with God. More than your words, the sincerity of your heart is of the utmost importance.

"God, I recognize that I am a sinner. Please forgive me and take control of my life as I submit it to you. I acknowledge that I can do nothing in my own strength and that I need the power of Jesus Christ and your Holy Spirit to lead me and guide me. I entrust my life to you and trade my pathetic plans for the better life that you have planned for me. From this day on, I am your friend and servant by choice."
